As a devoted listener of the Combat Jack Show, I was deeply saddened when the lead host and creator of the show, Reginald Joseph Ossé, passed away on December 20th, 2017. Although I never had the chance to meet Combat in person, his passion for hip hop and thought-provoking interviews had a significant impact on me. One of the most memorable segments on the show was when Combat would ask guests to name their top 5 favorite emcees, which often led to engaging discussions. Inspired by Combat’s legacy, I set out to create an app that would keep his spirit alive and bring hip hop fans together.
